Founded in 1977, Azteca Milling is a division of GRUMA (Grupo MASECA), the world’s largest producer of corn masa flour. GRUMA operates internationally through three large divisions - Mexico with 18 plants, Central and South America with eight plants, and the United States with six plants. Additionally, GRUMA has a plant in Italy and is now expanding into Asia and Oceania. Over 37 registered patents for the production of corn masa flour and corn and flour tortillas demonstrate GRUMA’s commitment to innovation and growth in the industry.

As the industry leader in the corn masa flour market, we at Azteca Milling are committed to manufacturing the highest quality products, delivering superior customer service, and investing in new product research and development. We produce over 50 different corn masa flours with numerous traditional applications, including the manufacture of corn tortillas, tacos and tostada shells, tortilla chips, corn chips, tamales, pupusas, and atoles, to name a few. Non-traditional applications include the bakery and snack industries. Azteca Milling’s innovative research with ingredient technology is yielding promising results for use in other food industry sectors.
